Since I have 40 followers on Tumblr, I decided to build a house for everyone! It's CC-free and technically a starter home because there's a fridge and a bed and a toilet. This house would be good for a young couple with lots of junk in their inventory.

Anyway, here's the lot tour for my Very Bad, Not Good "Starter" Home:

So I know that I haven't really been on my journal, oh, since March.
But! I'm doing my own BACC, which is going quite nicely and is at Week 12. The main reason I haven't put it up here is because it would take forever to take pictures, edit the pictures, and write up a post. I'd really rather just play and take the minimal amount of notes needed to keep track of everything.
The other reason: WHERE WOULD I HOST ALL OF THE PHOTOS? One of the reasons I stopped posting Wildflower Ridge was because I ran out of room on Image Shack (legend has it that they used let free users store unlimited pictures, but I don't love my Sims enough to pay real money to host photos). And I only have so many email addresses that I can give Photobucket.
Anyway, to mix up my BACC I'm going to do the Asylum Challenge with one of the CAS Sims. I've done it before, and it was really fun. Thank you,
erykahfairy, for posting a link to the rules because I'd lost it. I have four and a half families to play through until I get to the Asylum, but I might move everyone in and do an introductory post early.

Join us in standing up for reproductive health and education. Planned Parenthood, the organization that delivers reproductive health care, sex education and information to millions of people worldwide, has come under fire in the U.S. lately, with many politicians on both state and federal level seeking to end funding (and in a few cases succeeding).
During the month of May, you can send a specially designed Planned Parenthood vgift to your friends to help support this cause. (And if you need someone to send it to,
frank is always happy to receive gifts!) There are three variations ($1, $5 and $10) for you to choose from, but they'd all look good on your profile when your friends know that you stand by something so important.

Thank you all for your help in our support for Planned Parenthood. This promotion ends June 1, 2012; LiveJournal is not affiliated with Parent Parenthood. For more information about Planned Parenthood, please visit: http://www.plannedparenthood.org/

[I know that this is basically a Sims journal and that I haven't been on a lot lately (oh God do not get me started), but I think reproductive health care is a really important issue because it doesn't just affect women*. It affects men*, too, and everyone in between. Planned Parenthood is such an awesome organization -- we had a representative come to my sixth, eighth, and ninth grade sex ed units, and without them I would have been a lot more confused about contraception. Not that I'm ever going to be in a position to use it, but everyone should how to have safe sex and be able to protect themselves or their partner from pregnancy and sexually transited diseases/infections.
For more information about safe sex, I recommend visiting The Sex Uneducated.]
